Resume of Li Yong

Li Yong (1982.10—) received the B.Sc. degree in electronic and information engineering from the Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications (CQUPT), Chongqing, China, in 2003, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in communication engineering from Xiamen University, China, in 2006 and 2012, respectively. From 2006 to 2007, he was a Research Assistant with the Department of Electronic Engineering, City University of Hong Kong. From 2007 to 2009, he was with Gallop Inc., Chongqing. From 2011 to 2012, he was a Visiting Scholar with the University of California, Davis, CA, USA. From 2013 to 2018, he was a Faculty Member with CQUPT. Since 2018, he has been with the College of Computer Science, Chongqing University, where he is currently an Associate Professor. He has authored over 30 papers in peer-reviewed journals or conference proceedings. He holds two granted U.S. Patents and seven Chinese patents. His primary research interests include information theory and coding theory, quantum key distribution, machine learning/computer vision, facial expression recognition and distributed storage systems.
